Last updated: August 22, 2026

These terms govern your use of Meari Browser and this website (the Service), provided by Meari AI (the Company). By installing or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. Definitions

Service means the Meari Browser software and this website provided by the Company.

User means any individual or entity that installs or uses the Service.

AI provider means the third-party artificial intelligence model provider that the User connects to the Service.

2. Effect and changes to these terms

The Company publishes these terms within the Service or on this website.

The Company may revise these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law, and will announce the effective date and substance of any revision in advance. If you do not agree to a revision, you may stop using the Service and remove it.

3. Provision of the Service

The Service is provided as software that runs on the User's own device. The Company may improve or change its functionality.

The Service may be offered free of charge, and certain features may be offered for a fee. Terms for paid features will be announced separately.

4. AI providers and third-party services

The Service's AI features operate through the AI provider you select. You use that provider under your own account and API key, and you are responsible for its fees and for complying with its policies.

When you use AI features, information such as the content of the page you are viewing may be transmitted to the AI provider you selected. The Company is not responsible for that provider's processing. If you select a local model, such information does not leave your device.

5. User obligations

You must comply with applicable law and with the terms of the websites you visit. You may not use the Service for unlawful or improper purposes, including unauthorized use of another person's account, infringement of rights, or automated operation of sites where automation is prohibited.

Agent features operate real websites on your instruction. You are responsible for reviewing approval requests and checking the results.

6. Intellectual property and license

The Service's software may be used under the terms of its published open-source license (MIT). Rights in the names and logos Meari, 메아리 and Meari AI remain with the Company and are not transferred by that license.

You retain rights in the output you create using the Service.

7. Disclaimer

The Service is provided as is. The Company does not warrant fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted, error-free operation.

Except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence, the Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Liabilities that applicable law does not permit to be limited are unaffected.

8. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.

The Company and the User will seek to resolve any dispute in good faith; failing that, either party may bring an action before the competent court.
