About

Meari AI builds software that does the work people used to do in front of a screen — on that same screen.

01

About the name

Meari is the Korean word for echo: call out, and it comes back. It describes exactly how our browser behaves. State a goal, and the result returns.

Meari Browser works on the window already open and the session you are already signed into, with no integration in between. Instead of bolting on a new system, it uses the web you already use.

02

What we build

Meari Browser is an AI browser for macOS and Windows. Ask mode answers questions about the page in front of you; agent mode takes a goal and clicks and types its way through it.

It reads and operates the screen the way a person does, so sites with no API work too. That is why there is nothing to integrate, site by site.

03

What we hold to

Software that operates a screen on your behalf also carries the risk of operating it wrongly. We treat that risk as a design problem rather than a feature. Passwords are never exposed to the model, instructions planted in a page are treated as data rather than commands, and anything hard to undo stops and asks you first.

Keys and credentials stay on your device, encrypted by the operating system's own secure storage. They are never sent to our servers.

04

Open source

Meari Browser's source will be opened under the MIT license alongside the September 2026 release. Software that reads and operates your screen should be software you can inspect.
