Meari Browser is software that runs on your own device. Browsing history, tabs, bookmarks, session cookies, AI conversations, memory, API keys and saved account information are stored only on your device and are not transmitted to the Company's servers.

API keys and account credentials are encrypted through the macOS Keychain or Windows DPAPI. The memory store is encrypted as well.

Website use: minimal technical information such as access logs, browser type and language settings may be processed for service delivery and security.

Inquiries: if you contact us by email, we process the content of your inquiry and the contact details needed to reply.

The Company does not collect your browsing history or AI conversations, and does not use them for advertising or profiling.

When you use AI features, the request and information such as the content of the page you are viewing are sent to the AI provider you selected (for example Anthropic, OpenAI, Google or OpenRouter). That transmission happens under your own account and key, and subsequent processing follows that provider's privacy policy.

If you select a local model (Ollama, LM Studio and similar), page content does not leave your device.

Saved passwords are never sent to an AI provider. They bypass the model entirely and are entered directly into the web page's input field through an isolated path.

Information stored on your device is deleted when you delete it in the Service or uninstall the application.

Information related to inquiries is destroyed without delay once its purpose is fulfilled, except where applicable law requires retention for a set period.

The Company does not sell your personal information. We do not disclose it without your consent, except where required by law.

We may use infrastructure providers such as hosting services to operate this website, under contractual data-protection safeguards.

You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or suspension of processing of your personal information. Requests can be sent to the contact address below.

Data stored on your device can be reviewed and deleted by you directly.

The Service is not directed to children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

If this policy changes, we will publish the changes and their effective date on this website. Material changes will be announced in advance.
