The AI browser that acts

Meari Browser answers questions about the page in front of you, and finishes work by clicking and typing on sites you are already signed into. No per-site integration needed.

How it works

Ask, or hand it over

Two ways to use the same window. Ask when you want to know; hand it over when you want it done.

01

Ask mode

It reads the page you are looking at and answers. Long documents, unfamiliar terms, numbers scattered across tables — sorted out where you stand.

  • Article extraction strips ads and sidebars before the model reads anything
  • It can capture the screen when the answer depends on what things look like
  • Point it at a cheap model and summaries cost almost nothing

02

Agent mode

Say what you want and it operates the page itself. Because it runs on sessions you are already signed into, it works on sites with no API at all.

  • Element indexing — it addresses numbered interactive elements, not screen coordinates
  • It stops and asks for your approval before anything risky
  • It opens and moves between tabs to carry a task across steps

Features

A browser first, AI on top of it

The browser you already know, with a layer that can read and operate the screen.

  • 01

    On sessions you already have

Every tab shares one persistent session. Sign in once and it stays; the agent works on top of that state.

  • 02

    Element indexing

Instead of clicking coordinates, it hands the model an index of interactive elements. Far more robust across responsive layouts and scrolling.

  • 03

    Memory across sessions

It remembers the context you reuse. The store is encrypted, and secret-looking values are blocked before they can be written.

  • 04

    Bookmark groups

A two-pane manager with drag-and-drop ordering and moves. Toggle the bookmarks bar with a keystroke.

  • 05

    Chrome extensions

Install extensions from the Chrome Web Store. They load at startup and update on a schedule.

  • 06

    DevTools

The shortcuts you already use, plus right-click Inspect, docked on the right.

Security

What an AI that touches your screen owes you

Software that operates pages for you can also operate them wrongly. We handle that in the design, not in a checkbox.

  1. 01

    Credentials stay isolated

The model only learns that an account exists for a site, and its username. The password travels through an isolated channel straight into the input field — neither the model nor page scripts ever see it.

  2. 02

    Prompt injection defense

Page text is passed in marked untrusted. Instructions planted inside a page are treated as data, never as commands.

  3. 03

    Approval gates

Hard-to-undo actions — payment, deletion, sending — plus form submissions and automatic sign-in all require your confirmation.

  4. 04

Keys live in the OS vault

API keys and saved accounts are encrypted by the macOS Keychain or Windows DPAPI and never leave your machine.

AI providers

Keep the model you already use

Pick a provider, paste a key. Choose separate models for agent work and for questions.

Agent work is multi-step judgment, so it favors a stronger model; questions are page summaries, so a cheap one does fine.

FAQ

Worth knowing up front

Does my page content leave the machine?

It is sent to the provider you chose. With a local model (Ollama, LM Studio) nothing leaves the device.

Do I have to set up each site?

No. It reads and operates the screen the way a person would, so sites without an API work too.

What if the agent clicks the wrong thing?

Hard-to-undo actions, form submissions and automatic sign-in all pass through an approval dialog first.

Do DRM streaming and every extension work?

DRM playback is not supported, and some extension features such as toolbar popups are limited.
